Socialabs is committed to protecting user privacy and complying with applicable data protection laws and Meta Platform requirements. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, process, store, and protect information when you use our Instagram automation services (“Services”). By using Socialabs, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this Privacy Policy.

Scope of This Policy. This Privacy Policy applies to the Socialabs web application, Instagram Business account integrations, and automation features including Instagram DM automation and link delivery. Socialabs uses official Meta (Instagram) APIs and complies with Meta Platform Terms, Meta Developer Policies, and Instagram Graph API Terms. Socialabs is not affiliated with or endorsed by Meta Platforms, Inc.

Information We Collect. When you connect your Instagram Business account, we may collect your Instagram Business Account ID, Instagram username and profile metadata, connected Facebook Page ID (if applicable), and automation configurations (rules, triggers, message templates). With explicit user authorization, Socialabs may access incoming Instagram messages required to trigger automation, message metadata (sender ID, timestamps), and engagement events (keywords, replies, interactions). Please note that Socialabs does not read, store, or analyze message content beyond automation execution, and we do not monitor private conversations for analytics or profiling. We also automatically collect your IP address, browser and device information, and system logs for security and debugging.

How We Use Information. We use collected data solely to provide and operate Instagram automation features, deliver automated responses and links as configured by the user, maintain system security and prevent misuse, and comply with Meta Platform and legal requirements. We do not sell personal data, use data for advertising, or share data with third-party marketers.

Message Data Handling. Automated messages are sent only based on user-defined rules. All message templates are created and controlled by the user. Socialabs does not use message data to build user profiles, and message data is processed ephemerally and not retained longer than necessary.

Data Storage & Security. We implement safeguards including secure servers, encrypted data storage where applicable, and restricted internal access. Data is retained only as required for services or legal compliance.

Data Sharing & Disclosure. We may share information only with Meta Platforms via official APIs or when required by law. We never share user data with advertisers or analytics providers.

User Rights & Control. Users may disconnect accounts anytime and request deletion of their data. Upon disconnection or deletion request, API access is revoked and data is deleted within a reasonable timeframe.

Meta & Instagram Compliance Statement. Socialabs complies with Meta Platform Terms, Meta Developer Policies, and Instagram Graph & Messaging Policies. We do not engage in scraping or unauthorized automation.

Children’s Privacy. Socialabs is not intended for users under the age of thirteen.

Changes to This Policy. We may update this Privacy Policy periodically. Continued use of the Services constitutes acceptance.
